BM Torch: APP Modified Torch on Membrane

BM Torch membranes, manufactured with high quality bitumen and specialized polymers (APP-Atactic polypropylene) mixed together to obtain excellent heat and waterproofing properties. They have good UV resistance and are quite durable. The membrane has excellent mechanical properties and is highly resistant to fatigue and is used in structures exposed to high temperatures.

The plastomeric waterproofing membranes is coated on to a dimensionally stable reinforcement core of nonwoven spun bond polyester rot-proof fabric:

• Positive barrier to water and dampness
• Good dimensional stability under tension.
• High Puncture and fatigue resistance.
• Can accommodate structural movements
• Good flexibility

Recommended Applications
BM Torch 0328 membranes are commonly used both in single and multi-layer waterproofing systems on the following structures:
